Is This Set Compatible with My Keyboard?

Our keycap set is designed to work with most mechanical keyboards, but there are a few things to keep in mind to ensure compatibility:

1. Check Your Switch Type

Our keycaps are designed for most keyboards with cross-shaped (Cherry MX-style) switches. If your keyboard has these, you're good to go! However, low-profile switches (shorter ones) are not compatible. See the image for reference.

2. ISO vs. ANSI Layout:

  • ANSI (used mainly in the US) and ISO (common in Europe) differ in a few key ways — the Enter key shape, the Left Shift key, and a few surrounding keys.ANSI & ISO Difference, image from WEPC

  • But don’t worry! Most of our keycap sets are full kits that support both ANSI and ISO layouts. If a particular set doesn't support ISO, we'll clearly note it on the product page.

3. What Are Keycap Profiles?

Keycap profiles refer to the shape and height of your keycaps. They affect how your keyboard looks, feels, and even sounds. Here’s a picture to help you understand the most common ones.

No profile is "better" than others—it's all about personal preference. The profile does not affect compatibility, so you can select any profile that suits your typing style and comfort.

4. Compatible with Most Layouts:

  • Our keycap set supports most layouts of mechanical keyboards, including 60%, 75%, TKL, and full-size layouts. However, keyboards with a 6u spacebar (often found in some specialized layouts) are not compatible with this set.
