Mellow Drift Protective Case

I am sad because I really love this case and cannot find anything else out there like it. I have had this case about 3 or 4 months and the lovely silky texture has started peeling away! I wouldn't have minded as much if it didn't have the weird situation with mismatched color underneath (see side of joycon photo). It is SOOOO hard to find blue gradients. I am in love with the color, but for the life of me I am scared to repurchase just for this to happen again in a few months. And it is only the one joycon, I don't know why? I use them for playing fitness boxing and both my hands sweat during this. I wipe them down with gentle soap, a little water and a microfiber cloth. Nothing abrasive. If that was the problem I would LOVE for a cleaning care guide to be added to the case listing, because I need to wipe these off after they've been nestled in a sweaty fist for an hour. I primarily use my console in handheld form. Only disconnect the joycons for fitness boxing game. Before disaster struck and started slowly eroding away the joycon, I was obsessed with this case. Finally an option other than pink! No offense pink lovers, but cool tone colors just don't get enough love in aesthetic gaming accessories. The blue and green in this case even matched the official Nintendo blue and green colors in the joycons. It was my dream case....until it became a nightmare. I could have understood if this had lasted a few years before peeling, but I only had a few months with it before decay. I'm still on the fence about reordering it, and the only reason I am even considering reorder is because I can't find ANYTHING for Switch 2 like this.

The color and fit were perfect for the switch 2- it made the boring black console into a pretty show piece when sitting on the shelf when not in hand held mode.
